 Intro to Entrepreneurship Week 10

Things that resonated with me this past week was definitely the entrepreneur interview. I enjoyed the opportunity, and it actually gave me some good insight into doing what I want to do, which is selling clothing and apparel. I would love to start my own business, even if it is small. I got to see what hardships my interviewee learned, and what she would do differently. I think that if I apply that to myself, I could potentially see what I could do and everything. Right off the bat, I hope I can make some good decisions, but also live my failures and potential bad decisions. 

In the talk "Challenge to become" by Elder Oaks, I learned about a parable which goes like; "A wealthy father knew that if he were to bestow his wealth upon a child who had not yet developed the needed wisdom and stature, the inheritance would probably be wasted". I think that as we grow up and older, we can take upon ourselves more knowledge, lessons, hardships, and life. We can handle more than we can believe, but not enough to overwhelm us or sinking us into despair. 

In the license to pursue dreams, Marissa teaches us to take 20% of out time to create something of our own. One of google's products that came out late 2005, it came from 20% creativity.

    Intro to Entrepreneurship Week 13 This week I learned a lot from Randy Haykin about his life and journey to him owning his own business. This has inspired me to do the same or something like it. The idea of owning your business is neat, but I know it takes hard work to do so. Haykin had experience and some jobs before taking the step to create his own business. Intro To Entrepreneurship Week 1

  Some of the past individual learning experiences that I have learned was simply learning about keeping a journal. I kept a journal when I was a child, and most of my teenage life. Eventually, I stopped writing in my journal, and became busy with life. I simply did not make time for it. I learned that this past week I should get into this habit.  The idea of having a journal to reflect on each week is recommend by many. We cannot remember all the lessons we learned, and therefore can record it in writing. I also learned about the intro to this course. I originally thought we would dive into the business side of things, but I love how in this course we are projected to learn about ourselves, and see where we can be projected to be. I do want to focus on myself in the entrepreneurship side of things and see what I can achieve in this course.

  Intro To Entrepreneurship Week 6 This week I learned a great deal about interests in being an entrepreneur. I read that success is gauged by self mastery, which I think is true. entrepreneurship to me is self driven, it is up to the person how far the they want to go. Their motivation is driven by personal desire, success, money, and sometimes family. I think it is important to master yourself in a way. Figure out what is best for you, what drives you to do things. If we self discipline our selves, than we can become hard worker. In the video "The Entrepreneur and the Family", I learned how hard it is to begin a start up with having a family. There is a part in there where the speakers says that if you are single and want to begin a start up, than stay single.
